I just [re]installed the Memphis Shades Custom Lowers on my '15 FXDWG and took it for a spin on the interstate.

Pros:

• Eliminated helmet buffeting up to 80 mph.
• Seems more "planted" to the road. Much more stable when passing semi's on the freeway.

Neutral:

• More wind on my lower legs, which kept my feet more firmly on the pegs.

Cons:

• I don't really like the way they look (tho I don't like the looks of the windshield either).
• It definitely pushes more air. I could tell there was more "load" at higher speeds, especially when riding into the wind.
• Strangely enough, there was more heat on my right calf - must be the way the air now circulates around the engine.

Overall, it addressed the buffeting problem, which is what I wanted.

 

I have a Batwing with 6" windshield + wind management that is attached to the wing and the lowers . I usually run with all, but in the heat of summer I take it all off. I kind a like the looks
