low numbers of low riders?

I have an 04 Lowrider - taken it Outside Alaska twice. in August, just completed 10,000 mile trip Outside from Alaska down AlCan and back to lower 48 - 2,200 miles in 35-1/2 hrs. on return trip. Bike weight is 630#, with 200# rider and 40# gear, mostly tools. The ride was fast, hard, wet and abusive on bike, especially the tires and suspension. I outfitted bike with a Stage 1 kit, small saddlebags, a small kit bag under headlight, some electrical mods., and a VERY nice Le Pera seat. The Lowrider is light, sleek, fast, very nimble and quick with lots of high end power. The rider has a lower center of gravity with excellent control in all riding situations. It doesn't have extraneous gadgets n' bells n' whistles - it's functional and fast. It looks like a motorcycle, sounds like a motorcycle, feels like a motorcycle, rides like a motorcycle. I've rode several other Harley's - the big boys and the sportsters (still have a sportster). But, for an all around fun motorcycle ride, short distance or long distance, I love the Dyna Lowrider.

They stopped making them in 2009. I got the last new one my dealer sold. So there wont be any more making them less and less likeley to see as time goes by. They came with only mid controls which for me was perfect. I actually went in to buy a cheaper wide glide but the forwards on the WG left my back aching after 2 minutes.

Low Rider is back
I know that this is an old thread, but couldn't resist. Just bought a new 2014 Low Rider in Vivid Black. Dealer is bringing it up from another dealer.
Looking forward to this bike, dual disk brakes up front, adjustable handle bars and dog bones, cool looking ride.
Now I can't get that song out of my head, you know....
Low Rider, get a little higher, all my friends ride a low rider......
