A Swedish fxr would be sweet. 6 or 8 in the downtubes. Look at their sporty fxr frames there are a few pics on the website.

I visited the shop a couple if years ago, I'm not a fan of that red one on the web but looking at it in person it was easy to see past the add ons. There's a silver one on the web too I think it's the 250 rear that's a real nice looking bike.

If it was me, an FLH frame as a basic platform and start custom building... but then building chassies (is that the plural for chassis?) has always been my forte... car ad bike dragster, car altered, pro-stock etc...oh yeah.... and a shop in which to do it.

Off the shelf, I would say from a chassis builder's viewpoint (and these are my opinions only) the Kenny Boyce frame, with which I am familiar, is a bit more photogenic than the Chopper Guys frame.... if you plan on big power though, I would go with a Chopper Guys frame.... although if your idea of enough power was 100hp, it is doubtful that you would ever notice a difference.

It sounds like a NICE build!

Good luck!

I hope you document your build on here. I'd like to follow it.

Well I didn't get either. I bought a FXR instead. It's kinda in rough shape so the rebuild will be documented here for sure.

Chooper Guys. I have a 2002 FXR frame. Guess they're called FXR frames because every part I've ever hung on that frame from 1991-94 FXR fits perfect (plus the 99' EVO crater). Welds are immaculate and the ride is awesome. Will drop a pic when I get a chance.
