Default revolution 98" big bore kit

i was thinkin about gettin this for my 01 wideglide. bike is basicly stock now except for intake an exhaust. has anyone used this kit? it is only a thousand bucks, will it make a big performance diff? it says compression ratio will be 10.5:1. it is a true bolt on kit.

Don't know how much of an improvement it will make but 10 more inches and a bunch more compression can only ADD power to the thing. I will say this, if you could add a bolt on displacement kit to an Evo like you can a T/C, I would have done it to mine years ago.

you will also need to port your heads and change the cams to make it worth while.

More power comes with a clutch upgrade in most cases. Talk to the manufacturer and see what they recommend for cams as well for the biggest bang

I have had one installed in my 05 Ultra. I now have over 30K miles on this kit with NO problems. I have 107 TQ and 98 HP, 100 TQ starts at 2200RPM at peaks at 107 at 3800RPM. When I cruse at 70MPH its at 2800RPM and I can pass anything !!!! even fully loaded and with the wife on the back. 35 to 40 MPG depending on grade of Gas.

O5 Ultra 98” Kit 9.71:1
Andrews 37G Cam
Roller rockers w/ Adj push rods
Baisley oil spring
“Street Port” from local head shop.
V&H duels with Ovals

Talk with the guys at Revolution about what they recommend for cams, and head work. If you are doing the work yourself FOLLOW their recommendations. When this kit first came out there was a lot of reported problems due to cleaning the cylinders.
Also For My $0.02, As good as my build is…….
Find a local shop that has a GOOD rep. and find out what they recommend for an engine upgrade (HD 95” or the 98”) They should Dyno tune the build after break-in. Remember its your $$$.
*****You can get the same 100TQ and 100HP from a good 95” build.******

Hit me up via pm or email if you want it for a lot less than the $999 retail. FDrew@Drvtwin.com or you can call us at the shop too.
