Default quarter fairing on 2010 superglide

okay, I've got the quick release clamps and the quarter fairing is all together... How do the quick release clamps attach to the fairing???

you will need the fairing brackets. for the 49mm front end check out www.bungking.com , he makes them.

I believe someone was saying that you didn't need those... just some hardware.

Well you do need brackets. Search the forum for posts on this topic. There is a lot of useful info by riders who have installed fairings.

Yup, I just put mine on, and it even says in the instructions that came with the fairing that the mounting kit is required, and not included. Mines held on with zip-ties until the man in brown shows up! I think HD only sells them for 39mm forks, but as ecv said, bungking has some for the 49mm forks.

But just to let you know, a handful of zip-ties will work too, temporarily, and it stayed on even in triple digit speeds!

pablo - is 1/4 fairing HD, or Ness?
I have the Ness, used quick release hdwe from HD, with some chrome bolts and rubber spacers...
