Default LED Signals without Load Equalizer

Does anyone know if there are any negative effect to not using the load equalizer (other that the fast blink)?

I just replace both front and back signals with LEDs and they work fine other than the blink rate is fast. Will this cause any damage in the long run or can I just keep it this way?

From what I understand, they could possibly "freeze" up on you. LEDs do not draw as much current so the load equalizer tricks the computer into thinking that they are drawing the same as standard bulbs.

When I first installed my Aloy Art rear LED's and left the OEM fronts, they worked as they did from the factory. I think the front stock turn signals were acting as the LE. When I swapped bars and ditched the front signals all together, then they blinked fast and the key came on. I ran it that way for a full summer, 10+ thousand miles. Never had a problem. But then I saw how cheep the bad lands plug and play modual was and how it was literaly a plug in fix for my problem, so I got it and never turned back.

Good to know! Thinking about getting some LED for the front when I put your bars on.
