Fat Bob exhaust swap out help
I have Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust on my Fat Bob but frankly I'm tired of having to ride with ear plugs. They're just plain loud and they reverb in my helmet. I don't want to go back to stock because those sound like a sewing machine. Does anyone have a recommendation for some slip on replacement mufflers for the stock head pipe or an aftermarket set up that would have a great rumble (low note) but not be so excessively loud?
I really like the look of the Big Radius, but after a long day I like to be able to hear too.

I've got the Samson Powerflow - sounds nice, looks nice and not at all loud, makes much less noise than something like a Pro Pipe.

Easiest solution is BCT QQ baffles, I had them in my Big Radius. Helped with torque and made a nice improvement in tone, gave a lower tone which makes it sound quieter.

Changing baffles to Rush or BCT is a good option. I had the BCT QQ baffles in my V&H slipons and they definitely gave it a lower tone but not that much quieter, except at idle. If you want to get the noise level between yours and stock the SE slipons make a nice rumble and are easier on the ears.
