Default Added two pieces of functional ugliness

Heated grips died after about 3 ˝ years. I replaced them with a set of hand shields and Avon Boss grips like “antman27” asked about a couple of days ago. Took it out for a quick 45 mile ride at highway speeds in 42* weather. They worked pretty well and kept the wind off the hands.

I dig em! To me I really don't mind the look, especially with the fairing. My hands are always the first thing to get cold. I will be ordering a set! Thanks

How do the shields actually attach to the bars? I was thinking of making my own from scrap at work but the only thing I was thinking for attaching was using the mirror posts.

I have the National Cycle hand shields on my bike, Luv them.
I wear my mechanic gloves with them down to the 40's.
And I wouldn't mind trying those grips....

I think they look pretty good with the fairing you have.
