Default Thoughts on this sissy bar

I need to get a sissy bar for my super glide. This is the cheapest one I found but I dont want to spend $180 on a piece of junk. Anybody have one?

Just get the sotck '11 up Wideglide sissybar and put it on there. $80 from dealer, $60 in the classifieds. It fits, I proved it.

What you have there on eBay is the Harley detachable sissy bar and side plates. What the eBay ad doesn't tell you is that you need the Harley taillight relocation kit and mounting points to make the detachable sissy bar work. If you want the detatchable sissy bar, go to a Harley dealer (or Harleydavidson.com) and make sure you get all of the components you need.

If you do not want a detachable sissy bar, there are many options available.

problem is it depends on what he uses it for because the factory
WG bar isnt very tall, this was the reason i removed it from mine when i had it
my passengers didnt feel comfortable riding any distance with it.

I rarely have passengers, and when I do, if they don't like it...They can always follow me in the car.

what you will need to use the quick detachable sissy bars is
1. Turn signal relocation kit
2. Docking hardware

If you go with standard side plates all you would need is the sissy bar
