Yep they are not only good for safety but they look good.
I ordered from bk-rider (cheapest price) for $272.00.
Total priced shipped to Australia was $371.

On deluxe since 11/11 I have added a windshield, engine guard, detachable backrest, an aftermarket rider backrest ( I love this), edge locking (108 L)saddle bags,edge brackets, and from diamond ice collection speedo trim, gas cap, gas gauge trim, and large hd logo on aftermarket rider backrest. I moved my harley highway pegs and my extreme cycle radio, mp3 player with 2 inch chrome speakers. Pics in my albums.
