Anyone ever change from the HD tank emblem to a decal/sticker. I was wanting to do this but not sure what all this entails. I know I can get the emblem off easy enough but how would you go about putting a different HD decal/sticker back on. Wouldn't it have to be clear coated to look right? Any info would be appreciated

 

You can just put a new decal on, the same way the last one came off. You can clear coat if you want, but plenty of guys don't and have no problems.

 

Thanks for the info. I'm just not big on the tank emblem on mine. Hard part is going to be figuring out what I want.

Check ebay and just put in "Harley Tank Emblem". Lots of cool options.

 

I always like the "no emblem" option. If I were to get one, I'd get the design from the year I was born.
