That's a handsome bike, & there's no doubt about it!!!

A bit low to the ground for my tastes, but hey, I'm funny that way. I like the way FXDX sits up in the clouds (an FXDP is nothing more than an FXDX with a weird wiring harness, a funny paint job, and a few cop bolt-ons).

I'm curious, are parts/service readily available in your neck o the woods?

One other question: The later pics show a cool 2-into-1 exhaust. It looks like the rear cyl pipe snakes right over the crankcase dipstick. Do you have any trouble checking the oil hot without getting burned fingers?

I can chime in here. I have a Bassani Road Rage II which snakes around the same way. The answer is, it SUCKS to check the oil hot lol. I wear an oven mit lol

What did you do to black out your upper forks? Vinyl wrap?

million times better then the purple, infact it made such a difference it took 3 looks to see the blackened upper forks. I have never seen a purple harley that i liked.

Looks really good. I always hated that purple color. You don't have any issues with that thunderheader scraping sitting that low?
