Default Blinker connector pin removal

1st off i did a search and came up empty. So my question is i am replacing the bars and need to pull the connector apart that is for the blinker so i can get it through the bar clamp housing. I am relocating them to the forks. How do you get those buggers out. I was able to get the molex connector for the switch housing apart with no issues.

All connector have locking tabs that hold in the pins. Not sure about that particular one but it's just a matter of looking at it and figuring it out. From the pic it looks like you need to remove that piece on the back and remove the pins from there.

I tried locating Mud's writeup on pin removal but couldn't find it. Because of that thread, I can remove the pins in about 3 seconds with ease. Can anyone find a link to that thread??

Flip open the button secondary lock; lift the tang using the screwdriver or a flattened paperclip and pull out the wires & pins...

FXD, you beat me to it. I was going to post the link to your diagram here and give you the credit for it, since I thought it was a post from Mud. This helped me a ton!

Here is a link to thread about the connectors anyway. Reading through it helps.

Yep just follow the diagram and it is real simple I figured it out when I did mine but just looking at it and using a small screw driver. The most important part is "REMEMBER THE ORDER OF THE WIRES" in regards to the slots they are in! I took a picture on my phone to remember what went where when reinstalling the wires in to the connector. Once you figure out how to remove the first wire it will just get easier.

They also make a pin removal tool for these duetsch connectors, but I use a thick/large paper clip & it works quite well. Gringoloco13's advice on marking the wires is spot-on too. Nothing worse than pulling everything out & not having schematics to assemble & then get memory loss/geritol moment. I take cell pic & also mark w/masking tape...

Holy crap that was easy. Thanks fxd and everyone. The drawing was perfect. Take 1 sec per pin. I am so excited.

Pulling my hair out last night trying to get these pins out so I knew someone had the answer on here!
Took me 2 minutes once I saw this.

Thanks FXD.
