got all set up for cold weather riding again this weekend, put on 85 miles jamming... also coated my mounts for the quick release and to be honest the bags fit much better now hahaha

Its amazing how much your bike changes when you mount the fairing and bags!

hahaha thanks... you know now that it has the floor boards at speeds over 95 it is much more planted.. must have to do with wind deflection or something... either way it is nice.

going to color match the bags and fairing this winter... but still have a little something up my sleeve for that!

Now you just need the fairing lowers and you'll extend your riding season by another month or two ... keep your feet a lot drier when you get caught in the rain ...

Then get studded snow tires ... you won't even need a snowmobile ... LoL

I'll have to post up some pics on how I'm redoing my bag hardware ... give you a little more concrete input and some ideas on how to improve the system ...

My bags and fairing (including lowers) are in paint this week ... maybe have some photos to post up in another week or so ... keeping it simple ... just going to match the tins ...

Yours is looking good ... I am going to have to follow your lead on the filler panels between the bags and the fender ...

they where super easy to make! 100% think you should do the same... stoked to see the color match on the bags man.... i would run lowers (hell if nothing else for more speaker power... but i dont want to run a crash bar on my bike cause they take to long to pull and put on... right now i can go from full out bagger to stripped bobber in like 3 min... crash bar with lowers would be awesome but would really stretch that time out... if it is that cold i take the sport touring hahaha post pics when you get your bags back!

Love that bike. You need to post a pic heavy thread of all the little things youve done. I like the knuckle brake lever you made!

Man lower fairings would look great with that set up. I understand your reasoning in not doing it but damn it woul look kick *** and like you mentioned give you more space for more speakers.
