Default 2002 Dyna Wide Glide Speedo and Turn Signals not working

I am new to the site, but my buddy just bought a bike and the other day we were riding and the speedometer stuck at 54 mph and the odometer does not display anything as well. Also, do not know if this is related or not but none of the bikes signal lights work. The turn signals and tail light are lit, but do not light get bright when brake is pressed, and turn signals do not flash. I do not know if this is a fuse or what. Please Help!

I had the same thing happen your brake lights won't work either. It is a fuse souks be a diagram on the fuse ox the fuses can be bought just about anywhere mine was the bottom row second fuse from the left. Hope this helps.

Keep an eye on it - had a similar problem on my g/f's 2000 FXDL. Replaced the fuse and a few days later, same thing. Fuses can go bad but generally something caused them to blow and just replacing them doesn't solve the root cause.

In her case it was the module that converts the rear turn signals into auxiliary brake lights. It had gone bad. Yanking it solved the problem. Check to see if your bud's bike has that mod.
