I I I I I I I I I dunno.....
Wow, its rally hard to believe what I just read. Doesn't matter how old or how new a post is including the age of some of the riders that published their thoughts. Are there that many people out there that don't have or never have had a belt drive system but yet can tell you issues with them. LMAO........
First off, criticize only if you experienced it,
Second, there's an *** for every set. If you like them great get one if not FUHGEDDABOUDIT.
Third, yes they are noisy and everyone knows that so if you like a stroll in the park FUHGEDDABOUDIT.
Fourth, the strength of a Kevlar drive belt is amazing and easy to maintain oh hold it did I mention what I have had do to it in the last 10K oh yea nothing, nada, Zero, Zilch I never had a more perfect alignment. I let go of my bars and my ride stays like a well trained Black Lab and we know how faithful they are..
Sixth, If ya'll did your research you will see that enclosed belts can look good and are very affordable. They don't have to be 3" wide to perform. BDL enclosed 1 5/8 belt takes all the near 100 lbs torque and HP i can give it with no problems, Hell look at your rear belt, how wide is it?
Sixth, no extra parts like um a compensator? it's all extra weight on the crank.... heck going to a belt put my ride on a diet and it barks... Remember horse power and torque to weight ratio is the real factor.
All in all it all adds up to good reliable performance and if you have sensitive ears FUHGEDDABOUDIT.....
I will try to upload pic's when i can find them..
Don't take me seriously, Just laugh.....

Because a lot of ride where there is gravel on the road... I'm already leery of it, just with the final drive being belted... putting a rock through the primary belt would be a day of no joy...

The same statement applies to the Naysayers of using car tires.

I have often wondered why those who constantly go through compensator sprockets don't just go to a belt.................Soft02, your thoughts please.
