I didnt use the most accurate method. I used a clamp and the measured in between. Close to the same though.

Default Thread wear update after 3,180 miles

Tire thread depth new (06/14/2012) was: 11/32"

Tire thread depth (09/26/2012) after 5.119 km (3,180 miles): 7/32"

Assuming I have to change the tyre at 2/32" thread depth, it will wear 9/32".

Expected mileage calculation:

If 4/32" = 3,180 miles,
than 9/32" = (9/32" : 4/32") x 3,180 miles) = 7,155 miles (11.514 km)

This expected result is a lot less than the 11,702 miles I got out of my Dunlop K591 150/80 B16 rear tire!

I'll keep you posted.....

Mine has been on my bike for a bit over 7000 miles and was on the bike when I bought it. It still has plenty of tread. I was going to take a pic but the Dyna is at home today.

Once you got home, could you do me a favor and take out the vernier caliper to measure the remaining thread depth?

That looks like a pretty solid tire, I think I've found my next set...

Next time I ride it here to work I'll measure depth. Who knows, I may be exaggerating.

07bob, I saw a bike that looked just like yours at about 7 this morning on the 15. Not too many Rifle fairings round here

Anyone have any issues to report with em so far, even with it's narrower width?

I put a couple thousand miles on my set so far. Nothing but good news so far.
