28K on my 98 dyna, just got it out of the shop....it was NOT maintained according to the oils being changed, BUT..luckily everything checked out great on it!!
like most have been sayin maintenance is the key. If you were looking at a car with 35k would you consider that high i wouldn't. Hell thats just barely broke in to me. I think the area where you live has a lot to do with it also in florida were you can ride a bike all year long 35k is proably nothin but up here in NY I know a lot of people would say thats high. A maintained motor will go 100k miles all day
Besides maintenance, how a bike was used is only everything. Someone who rode it like he stole it, w/ lots of stop and go traffic in high temps, frequent jackrabbit starts w/ very large rider and passenger, and towing a trailer --35,000 miles will seem like a lot.
my 92 had 33k miles i bought it. I was thinking it was low. My goal was to buy a bike under 50kmiles. I would have no problem buying a bike with more miles if the price was right. But bikes with 70-100k are the same price as bikes with 20-50k miles.
