Default Springer front end on a Dyna?

Has anyone here installed a Springer front end on a Dyna? More specifically, a Wide Glide?

If you check in the "Best of Dyna" sticky thread there's links to a few threads with Dyna Springers, although I don't remember any of them being Wide Glides.

Edit: Maybe that wasn't in the Best of thread, cause I can't find it now. But here's a thread on it:

I know forum members have done it but it's very costly. I looked into it briefly and realized it just wasn't worth it to me.

They look awesome but with the money you would spend, you could do a ton of things to your bike.

There is nothing that looks better on a bike than springer front ends IMO. When you looked into it, what were the cost?

I have seen springer forks advertised for about 1200 dollars, is that close to the mark?

I don't remember the brand but I'd say $1200 isn't too far off. But that wasn't the worst part. A dyna requires heavy modification to the neck for it to work.

One company, paughco, makes a springer that fits a dyna but costs $2000+. Just to rich for me.

$2000 is about right. Your gonna spend a lot cause your almost gonna need to go custom. Your trail is gonna be much different then a street bob.

Also can check out http://www.jeris-springer.com/home.html
