Default Suspension wobble in turns

I have an 07 Bob with stock suspension and have problems with wobble/swimming in the long sweeping turns. It did not used to occur unless I was going about 85 mph and now it is occurring at lower speeds as well. "slow down in the turns" is not the answer I'm looking for. Ive tried a new metzler on the front and that didn't help. I weigh 150 and never ride 2 up. Any advice on correcting this suspension problem?

Trutrac will solve the problem or better rear suspension, or maybe just stiffen the rear preload

Are both tires bias ply, or radial? I don't think it is good to mix the two.

Check the "fall away". That will make a huge difference if it's too loose. I swear by the True Track though. Corrects a rather poor design on HD's part. Do a search on True Track and you will find tons of info on this problem. BTW, welcome to the forum!

I have an 07 Bob that has had the same issue, I have narrowed it down to multiple things.

Proper tire pressure, what is on the tire not in the manual...... This helped quite a bit.

Rear shocks becoming worn out....Still need to replace the shocks but stiffened the spring rate which help also.

Needing to replace worn out fork oil......I haven't done this yet but I know the the fork oil is worn out and way to soft up front.

And, inherent oscillation in the suspension design.....I plan on installing a Sputhe stabilizer

Hope this helps.

New tires - Pirelli Night Dragon Bias front and rear
Tire pressure - set and tried min, med, and max
Rear suspension - changed to Progressives
Front suspension - changed to Progressive
Fork oil - not an issue with front being soft - tight now with Progressives
Balancing - Had balanced, removed weights and installed Dyna Beads

All of this helped, did one at a time, right after each other, but did not solve the issue.

Next is the front motor mount, there is a MoCo bulletin that came out in May about excessive vibration caused by front mount. There is also a new style mount that I can order from Harley at a cost of $160 (do remember that when a Harley part crosses the border it magically doubles in price).

True Track will be my last resort, because I want to find the problem first.

Great thing about all of this is; I now have a fantastic bike that has all of the mods I wanted to do to it done. Now if I can get the light shake that is left when cornering fixed, my dream bike will be complete...

OK, I will always find another mod to do...

As JC said proper fall away is the best place to start.

Stock suspension needs help.
Was first on my list. Been glad ever since.
Never a wobble at any speed.
