+1 on floorboards' comfort. Plenty of room to move around & stretch, as well.

The FLD boards were a direct bolt-on to my '02 FXD. Only thing lacking was a small cotter pin for the brake rod.

I've got the Switchback setup. Perfectly happy with them.

I went the same route - FLD floor board kit on my 01 FXD. What a pleasure. Only put about 500 miles or so since I put them on and the relaxing ride feeling is still great -
I'm running 13.5 inch FXDX shocks - so I still motor through the turns.
Mini-apes going to be next.

I've never really rode a long way using a full floorboard, so I can't give any feedback on that. I did though just install some mini floorboards and they work well with my 11.5 boot on them...

I used the Kuryakyn floorboards. I really like em.
It was a easy install.

Floorboard's are the only way to 'road trip'.
