Help! 2008 Dyna Cutting Out When Warm Under Heavy Throttle
I have a 2008 Superglide, FI, V&H Big Shots, other than that completely stock.
Bike started cutting out when snapping the throttle open from cruising to approx 50% or greater throttle.
Battery went bad, battery replaced.
Bike still exhibiting the same cutting out symptoms. The bike will not cut out until 20min or so riding "warm" if you will. Other than the throttle cutting out which if you just hold the throttle in a fixed position when it happens its like someone turning on and off a light switch. The only other indication of anything up is that idle speed is high when it starts to cut out. Eventually the bike will throw P0108 and P0122 codes.
I tried disconnecting reconnecting the MAP and TPS sensors with no luck. I then tried jiggling/pulling on/bending the wiring for the MAP, TPS, and injectors to no avail. I cannot reproduce the fault startionary unless I unplug the MAP or TPS. I have not found any wiring that visually looks worn or suspect. I really don't want to take it to a dealer or shop. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I did notice that one of my plug wires at the coil shows some signs of corrosion. I tried to clean it up the best I could with a small wire brush.
If not wiring I am starting to suspect the TPS, the MAP visually is working OK while running in neutral, at least the plunger is moving up and down.
HELP!

Incidentally, since Im on here I figured I would update my post here. It turned out that the MAP sensor was just all gunked up. Thanks the the EPA our newer bikes puke all that dirty engine air back through the intake. I will be installing an aftermarket intake this summer with breather bolts.
