Default Handlebar swap succesful, almost

What a pain, took a few hours. Only thing i had a problem with was pulling the wiring through the new bars. They had really sharp 90 degree angles that made it a b*tch. A pin in the left molex connector broke, and now my front left blinker does not work. Anyone know where i can get a new pin? Or what kind they are so i can order online?

Whenever I needed pins I would just go to the dealer since I didn't feel like waiting.

Same here. I just bought a few the other day for a tach install and have some lef over but the postage too you would probably cost more than the pin. If you don't have a crimper you can get one at Radio Shack for about $8.00

I found the terminal connectors @ O'Reilly Auto Parts (I think they are nationwide?)

The part # was BWD CT719 .... $0.59

This was an 01 FXDL . They might have changed connectors on newer bikes (I think)

I broke a pin as well. I got some connectors from the dealer but didn't have the special crimper for them. I just used an insulated butt splice. Much simpler and faster, if you have the crimp tool for them. Also, I believe the smaller turn signal connector used different terminals than the big molex connector on my bike. I have a 2010 Street Bob

I went to the dealer as well, but I'm lucky and have an old bike, so I could use needle nose pliers on my pins.
