These are a great set up,they are very sturdy no need to worry about these going anywhere, and of course they are adjustable ,I believe they come in black,if not just paint them.
I didn't want the same old flat plate pieces of steel that HD sales for 150 bucks so I made my own mounts and bought a set of pegs at a swap meet for 20 bucks.
Got maybe 50 in them total and they are one of a kind.
Works for me on my 07 Street Bob
I have the HD adjustable ones and love em. Mine are power coated gloss black. Not sure how long paint would last on them. And you can only get the HD ones in chrome. It wasn't much to get them powdered and it will last.

I have considered making them. Just because they are so expensive and a Bonner should be unique.

This was my first set I made, gonna make another set this winter that matches the angle of the frame better which will push them a little farther forward yet. I figured between the cost saving and the fact I can say I made them it was worth the work.
I got the HD adjustables. I sprayed them black for now and they have held up the last 500 miles just fine. I will powder them this winter because I like to have powder work done during the off-season.
Anyway, after riding with them for a bit, I am now thinking of switching to forward controls this winter. I find myself using the hiway pegs way more than the mid mounts. I typically leave my right foot on the hiway peg and as soon as I am done shifting and getting up to speed with my left foot, I bring that one to the hiway peg as well.
