Question How do you choose a seat?

I've been wanting to get a solo seat, but I don't know where to go to "try them out".
Sure reading reviews will help some, but it's just not the same as sitting on one for yourself.

Where do you go or how do you choose a seat?

I would like to know this as well. With my luck, ill buy the one everyone recommends and then it will hurt my ***, lol. It would be nice to go into a shop that has seats on display to so people can try them out.

Most harley dealers are set up with trying out seats...they have the mats on both sides of the bike for different sizes

Get one that looks good, and another that feels good. Rarely will you find both requirements at the same time.

Find a seat you like here on a members bike and ask how comfortable it is for them. I've always been partial to Le Pera. They make quality seats.

Call a HD dealer to see if they have the seat fitting area in their store... then go in and enjoy trying as many seats as they have in stock.

That's a great question. Most Harley dealers have a few HD seats but nothing aftermarket. (Around here, anyway.)

Guess you just have to do some research, then buy and try.

All I can say is good luck unless your stock seat is a solo already then I would send it to mean city cycles and tell them what I wanted.
