Default Sold the Street Bob

Kinda sad to see her go but I've been doing a lot more touring and the bob just wasn't getting it done..... Anyway I got a screaming deal on a 2011 Road King with next to no miles and in a moment of weakness grabbed it.... It's like riding a Cadillac and its about as quiet as a sewing machine so I got my work cut out for me.... By the time I lower it, swap on some apes and change the pipes itll probably ride no better than the dyna LOL......

Anyway - Hopefully I'm not banished forever from the dyna forum (alumni rights?)

Later.....

Congrats on the Road King. I plan on getting one once I get back state side. Not sure if the wife will let me keep the bob and have two motorcycles in the garage. I think my plan is to teach her how to ride and let her have the bob and I'll get the RK. Now just to convice her.

I thought about keeping both but I dont really have the room for it and I figured only one is really gonna get ridden so couldnt' justify it... Road King seems like the perfect comprimise; a "single bike quiver" so to speak - handles great, comfortable, carrying stuff, windshield if you need it - take if off the rest of the time.... plus they look pretty cool. I'll post up a pic when I get around to it.

I see you are in Van.... they have a pretty nice black 2010 RK out at Barnes Harley (and a really nice blacked out Street Bob too come to think of it)..... they are asking $17.9K but they are really trying to move them and they came down a LOT on the 2011 I just picked up.....
