Default Layed it down

On my to work yesterday about 12:15 a 18 year old pulled out in front of me, never saw me. locked it up and the bike slid out from under me. Rolled a few times across the pavement doing about 40mph. Not fun. The only thing that was going through my mind was the bike. The kid kept going and thank God a witness chased her down and brought her back. Thankfully 2 other guys pulled over and helped me with the bike. Pipes, pegs, mirror, breather, and sheared a bolt on the passenger peg. Thankfully I was able to ride the bike to the dealer. Got some road rash and sprained my wrist. Other than that no broken bones. Someone was watching over me that day. Ride safe guys!!!!

You were watching over you. Whatever you did to still get up and walk away shows good instincts. Now you gotta' work on that wheel lock up thing.

Did they cite the girl so you can claim against her insurance?

Glad you are ok. Funny that all you think of is the bike.

Both, the car was right there and it was noon traffic and could not switch lanes. I figured if I hit her it would hurt worse. Did get her insurance info and she did get a ticket

Glad you're OK to ride another day & bike can/will get fixed. I'd have that wrist checked-out as well. Did you go into ER for check, or assume nothing's broken? Hairline fractures are a bitch and back when I still played softball I fractured my food running into fence (tracking fly-ball). Went to Dr weeks later to find out I had three hairline fractures in my foot...

I was a hero and refused medical treatment.
I had some rash and pain in my thumb.
Well my wife made me get checked out and I had a broken thumb.
To make a long story short get checked out. it is in your favor.
it was in mine.
My sporty was just about totaled at $6.000 damage.
