My service manual has not arrived yet, so I can't look up this info. (ordered online)

To prepare a long ride, I need to get my 1k service done now on my Super Glide Custom (2012). Besides the oil & oil filter, what other parts do I need?

Could someone send me some torque specs and measurements of oil I will need to fill?

BTW... I purchased six quarts of Mobil One V-Twin Synthetic 20-50 for all the holes... this ok?
Are HD oil filters ok? (Have not purchased filter yet)

 

your owners manual gives you the info on what you need to check and change. look under regular service intervals.

 

GEEZE... did you read the first sentence of my post? The manual has not arrived yet. (Purchased online)

 

you said service manual, not the same thing as owners manual.

 

you should have got an owners manual with your bike when you bought it. you will need a clutch inspection cover gasket as well as an oil filter and oil.

 

There's an oring kit for the drain plugs also. Don't trust the old orings. I've had them leak before even though they only had 1k miles on them.

 

My bad... you did say owners. I do have that and will check it out.

 

Buy the inspection cover gasket for when you need it but re-use the old until it leaks, ( if ever.)

My bike is 12 years old and just turned 117,000 miles. The inspection / derby / primary gaskets are all still the originals. No leaks.
