OK.. So its time for some new bars. What are the pros and cons from some of you guys with the apes and t-bars. I'm not sure which way to go. I need something with a little more pullback than stock (for comfort...I'm onlt 5'8") and would obviously like something taller. I like the look of both. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

They're two totally different bars...that like asking if you should get a pickup truck or sports car. It depends on what you want.

Fair enough... So with that said, that's pretty much why I'm asking you guys for your input. I have never tried riding with either set-up. I guess it seems like it's just a matter of personal preference but... Are there any noticeable handling or steering differences between the two?

This was my 2nd attempt at handlebars. 1st pair were Ness Ram Lo & they came WAY to far back.
These are 1.5" beefy bars w/ 8" rise w/ like 10 in pullback & they are a little low & a little too much back(to my defense...the seller stated much less pullback than there actually was...that's why I got them) I do like the width on these bars (like 32") . I also like the "fat" bars look.
I wanted to try 8's before 10's just because (and not to offend) I don't like really high T-bars.
Next set will be 10" rise & like 8" pullback & I think I will have it nailed. : )
(I also moved my turn signals to the forks since this picture was taken. I didn't internal wire yet either...that's winter stuff)
Oh. For the record. I'm also 5'8. 01 FXDL. I also wanted to note. The bars I have now are comfortable @ 8"...but I'm looking for perfect.lol)

No offense at all. It sure would be boring if we all did our bikes the same way. It's funny how some people get so bent out of shape if your taste doesn't match theirs.
