Prog 11" or Burly 10.5 question for WG
Hi brothers and sisters,
I'm considering lowering my 2012 WG partially for looks and for my feet to feel more planted. I'm 5'8" at 227lbs stocky. I will be lowering the front as well. I don not want to get a thinner seat than stock. From what I read on here, no matter what you do, the ride it is going to be much harsher and to just accept it. My questions is, is there going to be much difference in having a harsher ride between the progressive 11" 430's and the Burly 10.5" (which are cheaper) or are they both going to pretty much offer the same ride? If its going to be just about the same, might as well go with the cheaper one assuming quality is about the same. Also, am I going to have to contend with removing some of the rear fender to avoid hitting the swing arm or belt cover if I go with the burly or progressives? I do not want to use lowering blocks.
Also, I have a reduced reach kit on my fwds and it appears that I won't have clearence issue's during turns. I noticed this on a ride.
All thoughts and opinons are welcomed.
