2012 dyna fork cap socket size metric or standard?
What is the actual socket size?
Some say metric and some say standard?

I don't know about your specific Dyna, but my 2010 FatBob is 1-3/8".

Officially I think it is 35mm - that is what the Jim's socket is labeled anyway.

Definately a 35mm socket.Make sure you wrap fork cap with one wrap of painters tape or buy a after market Harley fork cap socket which is made not to mark cap.

The entire bike is standard except the parts on the fork. They are metric.
