Default Installed my parts

Well, after wanting a Harley for most of my adult life, finally got the wife to allow it with my latest promotion. I bought a 2012 Street Bob. It now has 1250 miles on it and I just finished most of my list of mods. They include:

Vance and Hines Black Short Shots Staggered with Fuelpak.
DK Custom Products 2.5" tank lift, Air Cleaner and Coil and horn relocation kit.
Bar Enterprises Hitchhiker 2-up seat.
Burly Brand 16" Narrow, black apes and 10.5" black shocks.
Harley Davidson dyna saddle bags and one piece detachable sissy bar.

Pretty much stock

And all mods on.

Default Thanks

Thanks man. I know the bags on a Street Bob just doesn't seem right, but it's all part of the plan. Put the wife on the back with the short shocks, let her see how rough it is, convince her that we need a Bagger, ALSO! If that works, I'll bob the Bob...

Congrats on the bike! Good luck executing your "Master plan" and getting the bagger. It looks like you need a different seat as the one you have is way too thick. She's going to like 'that' one too much!

I agree with you about the bags. I held off for 4 years and I just put some on last week and unfortunately I don't think they are coming off now until I get a road glide added to the stable. It's nice to have that storage.

It's actually decent. That's 5" of padding for the passenger so it gives a nice little back rest. That plus the bars allows me to lean back into it a little.

Yep, I agree 100%. I'm not allowed to go into town in my Cammies so I needed the bags for commuting to and from work. Plus, getting into the tool bag mounted on the frame downpipes for registration to get on base was getting old...
