Default help please!

ive got a oil leak coming from above and left of my oil filter, dealer says its not covered due too the fact i have a installed a aftermarket oil cooler. i bought the bike with it.. anyway the area its leaking from seem to be the (stock portion) if you will of the oil flow system. the question i have is this likely a seal that can be replaced or should i be seeking new parts. any help would be greatly appreciated.

More than likely a seal. I've read of a lot of problems people have with them.

When I installed mine, I used a little permatex #2 on the gasket, and a torque wrench on the fluid bolt that attached the addapter plate to the stock filter face.

Worked for me.

Best wishes....Tim(HT)
