Default Time to change the brake pads.

So as the title says, it is time for me to change my brake pads. Are the stock OEM pads good for the change or is there someting better out there that I can use in the OEM calipers?

I just changed mine a couple months ago.
I used the oem pads, got them at the HD dealer parts counter.
I've heard that the Lydall pads are good also.

I hope you're going to do it yourself, one of the simpler things you can do yourself other than changing fluids.

From HogPro - easily the best price on the net. Received a set from him a week or so ago.

I'm sure the Lyndall stuff is great.

The stock HD pads suck. I switched mine out at 1000 miles or so to EBC sintered pads. HUGE improvement. Wish I had some Lyndalls to compare them to...

Well I went to my dealer to get some assistance with another issue I was having and decided while I was there and I was pullling my front end apart today, I just picked up some OEM pads. Thanks for the inputs.

When I change my back pads out in a few months I will order another set for the front also. I mainly just used the OEM for the front because I needed new pads up front and didn't want to take the caliper off a week or so after I took it off to if my other issue.

HogPro, can you PM me with a cost for the front and rear pads for my stock calipers on my 2010 Dyna Street Bob?
