My SB is 07, what do you have?

 

I want to do a color match flush mount gas cap, I like the way they look

 

128Auto, I have an '08 SB I wanted to get the flush mount gas cap and gauge for. What model number did you use, and did you have to do anything crazy to get it to work? I'm assuming whatever you did will work for mine, since the wiring must be the same considering the chrome one is the same for both of our bikes.

 

Just did mine today, super happy with them.

Plug and play, you have to remove the old socket to pull the old gauge wires through the tank, easy job! Chrome and black make no difference.

 

Well 06 I am not sure, I believe it won't from what I see in the forum.

 

good my friend work at the parts counter so if it doesn't work will make something up (like this other guys didn't sell me the right parts haha) or I'll try to make it fit don't know why it would be so different from 2years

 

From what I was told it will fit 06 and up bike. But it will not work with the 06 fuel gauge harness to power up the LED's. The plug is different from the new bikes is what the stealer is saying? Not sure how true that is?
