Default Arlen Ness stage 1 vs stage 2

Anyone notice a difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 intake? I am considering upgrading to a stage 2, but not sure if its worth the $160+

Depends on final goal and set up. Stage II if you're planning internal work. If not stage I is more than adequate.

I have the stage 1 on my 103" build with stage II cams and the A/C still sucks plenty of air.The teks all told me to hold on to it until ,if ever, I upgrade even higher. But to answer your question, based on what i know, If your running a stage one on a stock bike then you would be blowing money for nothing at all.

It is unlikely you will see of feel a difference between the two air filters. It is mainly a looks thing although they have named them stage one and stage two.

I thought stage 2 for induction meant throttle body upgrade

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if the stage 2 was made for motorcycles with a stage 2 cams and engine work or if it was just supposed to be a stage 2 air cleaner. Doesn't seem worth the money to me.

I have the stage two air cleaner, got it cheap from an indy that was closing his doors. I have no up grades to the motor. Breathes better, only thing I don't like about it that it is sooooo damn big, pushes my knee out a little with the round air cover off a Crossbones. Which is another thing, its a pain in the *** to find a cover that fits that giant filter.
