Default Street Bob Safety Recall

Was looking at the board and this never seem to come up. I got a letter a few weeks back about a some bolt near the gas tank (I believe the notice is at home). Anybody else get this? Dealers honoring the recall?

That recall is the Battery Caddy Bolt one. Here's a link to a previous thread about it:

https://www.hdforums.com/m_1057082/tm.htm

The stealership was unaware of the recall when I brought it in. They checked their computers and found the info about it and were able to order the fixit and do it. I think I just happened to be the first person to bring in my bike and mention it to them. The same thing happed with the fuel injectors on the 06 - they weren't aware of it, had to order parts and took care of it no problem.

If you want to check if there's any recalls on your bike go here and enter your VIN:

I just visited the link from H.D. that you mentioned.
It didn't give me any recall notice but I have received one in the mail
about a month ago. The strange thing that I noticed on the web site
is they are still saying to replace the primary bearing at 15000 miles.
That really surprised me since I received the letter last year stating
that it didn't have to be done like they originally thought. All I know is that
I am keeping all the original paperwork that I had to sign when I picked
my bike up.
