Default SuperGlide - Relocating the License Plate Question

The drive-in movie screen license plate on the rear fender has got to go. I want to relocate it vertically to the drive side. My question for those who have done it or seen it done is: What do you fill the small holes left in the fender from the plate mount? I'm not interested in filling and painting.

Suggstions? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks, CM. BTW, your ride looks amazing. Everything about that bike says "go away".

Thanks man - I used that pyramid cover when I was running the stock fender and I still have it (black) if you are interested. You would need to put new 3M tape on it.

now that you have your holes covered, try the Road 6 Side mount plate. I have the Horizontal one and love it, I had to replace it becase the orginal one I got from Road 6 had design issues (Holes were to big) that caused it to crack. It was a combonation of it being horizonal (hanging way out there) and the Model A lamp I have on it. Road 6 told me this wasn't an issue with the verticals or the new horizontals (they fixed the design of the horizonal). They sent me a replacement for free when I mentioned it to them, no questions ask, had it 3 days after the call.

Thanks, Blue. I've been looking around for a mount. I like their curved vertical mount and I take the opinions of customers seriously. I'll order one today.

No biggie man, anytime. Are you planning on just the Plate mount or are you going to go with one with the Model A lamp. I upgraded my lamp to an LED setup from a speed shop that deals with classics cars. Makes a world of difference in how bright it is. Let me know, and Ill dig up the link to the light kit. I believe it was about $30 for the LED board and it uses the bulb sockets on the Model A housing, no added wiring needed.

Stock brake light, Brake on

Stock Brake off
