A fellow member asked me for some images of the Rifle Roadster mounting on my narrow glide FXDX. Thought I would spare for everyone interested in a roadster...

I did PC black all the mounting HW I could. Its chrome and the adjustable arms are brass. The Headlamp relocation bracket could be longer. As it is the head lamp sits inside the fairing with an air gap. It lets in light at night and the inside of the fairing is lit up some. I used weather stripping cut up to fill the gap as seen in the last photo. Works good and cheap.

How's the bubble shield for wind deflection? Any buffeting going on there?

That's the best looking one IMO, but I'm sure the 15" provides much better wind protection at speed.

 

I didn't have buffering with the bubble, but full wind on upper body, shoulders and above. Works and looks good, but I use the 15"
