Default Throw-over bags for FXDC

Hello, I'm looking for a set of good looking bags for my 2012 Dyna. Since I have bag supports I want a set of throw-overs. To me bags should be throw-overs. Guess I'm old school but you can't bolt bags to a horse.

I need some slants I think. I tried out the straight bags I'd had on my Sportster for years and the passenger didn't have enough room for their feet on the rear pegs.

I'd like to get something maybe from J&P. I've ordered from them over the years and I get 15% for my birthday. I'll order then.

These are the ones I like the best and they are all in my price range. Slanted, Hat box lids, Quick release buckles. Does anyone have them or have pics of them on their bikes? I'm wondering if the sizes of these would be good, since they have different sizes of these as well.

I went through the same dilemma. I found U.S. Saddlebags low rider bags. got them from J&P cycles. No turn Signal relocation, just throw them over and go. They are good leather, made in the USA, and A top quality product. They are also not too wide. They don't stick out really far from the bike. Best ones I've seen so far. I think they are the same ones Fox Creek sells, but I can't confirm.

Check them out.

go to Dyna Low Rider Saddlebags, theres a few options. they were made for our bikes, and at JP cycles you can find a discount..at least free shipping or something.

For Pics look at fox creek leathers website.
I'm telling you..these things are awesome.

Heres the link at JP cycles:

Hey thanks Man, those are good looking bags, but they wouldn't be big enough for my jacket. I have to take the liner out of it to fit my Sportster bags and they are a little bigger than those.

Those are good looking bags as well. Still a little small. So which of the 3 bags I have listed do you all like the best? Anyone?

Sorry, haven't used any of those, but this is what I've used for past 18 months. No frames or supports needed. I placed the straps under the seat and attached support straps to pillion peg supports and around the tail light. They don't touch the shocks or rear signal lamps either... Just not listed as waterproof, but rain has never gotten into the bags through the zippers...

Best value I have come accross is www.vikingbags.com. Good prices on so so bags will be www.jafrum.com, or www.leatherup.com. May want to shop a brand that has an angled cut out on the backside of bag to allow a closer fit around your shocks.
