Hey everyone,

Im new to HD Forums and had a quick question I thought some of you might be able to help with. I have a 2005 fxd but I don't have a service manual. I have a HD Service manual from my brother's 2003 FXD. Would there be much difference in a 2005 hd dyna service manual from a 2003?

There were slight changes , such as the fuel tank( not that that matters) Not too sure of the extent of info that would be different in the manual.

 

I just picked up a Clymer manual for my 04 FXD on Amazon for $30. This manual and the Moco version are both 04-05 specific. I doubt there's too much difference between them and the 03 in terms of real motor detail. I do know that the difference between the 04/05 and 06 is dramatic, especially in the wiring department.

If you need details for something on your 05, give me a shout.

 

Thanks so much. I didn't think there were any huge differences from 03 to 05. They went to the 96 in 06 so I figured there would be some big changes. Thanks so much for all of your help.
