I had the Heavy Breather on my bike at one point. Nothing against it, but to me it was just too overwhelming (looking) on my bike. I didn't keep it on there long.
Yes, it did mine somewhat. That really didn't bother me that much. I just got tired of looking at it. No offense to anyone with one, just didn't like it on mine.
yeah. i kinda agree with u. looks like i could get tired of it too. might look cool at first. I kinda like the Roland sands series but man they r expensive
thx for the insight. little by little im steering in the direction of the roland sands. Expensive. Sure but its only hard earned cash...a good deal on ebay or amazon seems to be around 380 bucks. to me, every one of the R.S. ac,s look pretty cool
I have the heavy breather on mine just because I like the look of it. However, it is big and blocks a portion of the engine visually.
If I had it to do over again, I would go with the Roland Sands.
Yeah, I guess that's what it was with me too. Yours eyes just focused on that. Roland Sands has nice stuff but they are pricey and the RSD logo all over it.
You could always just get a more reasonably priced AC and add a cover that's more to your liking or check out the under $50 thread for ideas. I know you were asking for a comparison, but just throwing out options for you to think about. I changed my mind from RSD to V&H VO2 for that very reason you mention, $$.
i like the new harley se air cleaner for 2013 but i believe they only fit touring models. wonder if a vance and hines naked with just the screamin eagle cover would work.
