The best performance will be any 2-1 over others. I bought the V&H propipe mostly because it was the only 2-1 I actually liked the looks of. I love the sound...kinda a deep rumble and not very loud when idling...but when you get on it...wow.
You will notice a bigger performance boost when you open up the A/C. You can change out the pipes and the A/C without a retune but to get your bike running the way it should before the EPA got involved, you will eventually want to get a quality tuner and possibly a dyno tune.
I ran XEID's with both mods for almost a year while saving up for the tuner..ran pretty good, but now its awesome.
I got the propipe from harleypartsdirect.com for 474 delivered

I like the look of the Big Radius 2 into 1 and the Big Radius 2 into 2. My third mod will be the switchback footboard kit which unfortunately won`t fit with either of those exhausts so I am going to settle for the V&H 3" slip ons with the factory headers. That Big Radius 2 into 1 looks great though.

Sent my 2012 Super Glide Slip Ons to American Custom, I like the stock look but not the stock sound. 164 dollars and 3 days later wow they sound great 3 baffle options and i still have the stock look. I did notice some performance change not much. Next will be intake and xieds. Also running 90 oct eth free bike loves it.
