Gladiator Windscreen installed
Hey guys and gals, I bought the Gladiator Windscreen N2703 in dark tint with wrinkle black mounts. I purchased it from Leatherup and it ended up running about $145 with discount codes, not bad for the quality and looks of it. It took maybe 2 days to receive it after placing the order which was really convenient.
My first impression was really good, it seems solid and high quality. The finish of the mount is pretty nice, matches the rest of the wrinkle black.
As for the performance, it just takes a bit of tweaking to get the wind gone in the right spots. I still have some riding and adjusting to do to get it right, but as of right now, it takes a lot of the wind off your chest at cruising speeds .. so it doesn't feel like you are holding onto the handlebars to stay on the bike.
It's two way adjustable, endless adjustments though .. the shield lowers and raises and the deflection angle changes. It's adjustable by loosing the bolts, takes no time at all to get it changed, it's a tight fit on the bottom bolts but not a problem. Mounting it is also very quick, remove the stock bolts one side at a time, mount the shield, reinstall bolts .. repeat on other side.
For the price, it's well worth it if you have problem with wind hitting your chest. The wind comes up and hits my helmet but not to where it's inconvenient, to me at least.
These are the only pictures I have of it at the moment but I think it flows well with my bike. It's not huge like a full shield, can be easily removed, adjusted, and all around looks great.
