Hoping someone can help me out. I am ordering a custom rear fender bib for my 2006 FXDi35 Superglide. Three Mutts Customs is making one with braided edges and an embroidered "Harley Davidson #1" (Evel Knievel style: Red, White and Blue). Here's my problem: Chris at Three Mutts asked what my fender width is and I am not sure where to measure from. Edge to edge it is about 8 inches, but that is not the width the fender bib will cover. Where do I measure from to get my OEM rear fender width?

Since you likely will be installing the fender between the rear struts that is the width you want and double check it be measuring outside edge to outside edge at the middle of the fender inside. This will be the mounting width.

That's the best customer service I've ever seen. These guys are great to deal with. Every step of the way he has informed me about when the bib should be ready. Can't wait to see the finished product.
