QQ Thunder Monster Baffles Baffles
I purchased a set of QQ Thunder Monster Baffles Baffles too suit my Screamin Eagle Slip on mufflers. These can be seen on Page 457 of the 2013 Harley Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories Catalogue. B Street Performance Mufflers - Dyan Staggered Duel Part number 80674-08A Chrome with Black End Caps.
The problem is that the QQ Thunder Monster Baffles that where supplied match the same outer diameter of the mufflers. I think it was 80mm or 3 5/16" ? Is it possible too obtain a Baffle that is slightly smaller in the outside Diameter?
Has anyone out there fitted a set of these baffles into the said mufflers? Not easy too remove the stock baffles and just as hard too replace them once they have been used.
These are fitted to a 2013 Dyna Fat Bob

Hi Chase1961.. No I purchased the baffles through the Australian Dealer where i got the bike from. They did all the work, but managed too get the wrong ones. I have also sent Big City an email as well and will follow this up as i am sure that they do make the right ones too suit the Screamin' Eagle mufflers that i have. I reckon that these will work as claimed for sure. The quality in workmanship is as good as. Will keep you posted Chase1961. No worries Nevil. The ones that they sent where the same diameter as the mufflers. Just on three inch from memory.

The reply from Big City Thunder. Very efficent..
The mufflers that you have are not the Screamin' Eagle Street Performance
mufflers that our baffles were designed to slip into.
In your case the option would be to use the doughnut or exit end of your
Screamin' Eagle muffler baffle as well as the front end of your Screamin'
Eagle muffler baffle as it is different as well. You would need to cut
the ends off each set and weld them on the Thunder Monster baffles after
having cut off the same on the Thunder Monster baffles.
While it may sound complicated we have had quite a number of folks do
this. A good machine shop should be able to do it for you quickly and
reasonably.

This would be a very easy fix for anyone with ready access too a good workshop. It is an option that i am seriously considering as all reports on these baffles would seem too make the extra work required, well worth it.
