Default 2013 fxdb front signal removal

So when I installed my new bars, I wanted to remove my front signals like I did on my 2011 fxdb. I noticed the signals are connected totally different than the 2011 model. It looks like the are mounted to the inside of the switch housing. Is there a way to remove them without making it permanent? I just want to have the option to out them back on if I want. I'm sure I could just cut the wires, but I don't want to unless there is another wat to hook them up. Theres not much wire inside the housing to work with if I would need to. Thanks guys.

If Harley makes a front signal relocation kit for your model like they do for mine, you might get some helpful info by downloading the instructions. A lot of the sites that sell Harley parts provide the instructions online, I have downloaded mine to see how easy the relocate would be.

The only way that I know of is to acquire new controls and run the relocation.

The relo kit taps into the harness at the neck IIRC. Unless you're going to put the signals back on the bars, you can terminate the wires in the switch housings.

hey, just throwing that option out there since he mentioned wanting it so he could reconnect them at any time.

Just do the relocation, very easy, and fairly cheap
