Default Drivers backrest

Anybody put a drivers backrest on a HD sundowner touring seat that isn't made for one ?

Got the adjustable backrest for the Sundowner on the RKC. I never use it, but my #4 brother loved it when did our '10 ride to/thru the SW.

Sounds good ! I think it would be great for all day rides. Did you get the seat with backrest capabilities or did you have to cut a hole and mount it yourself ?

My RK Sundowner came already slotted for the backrest (fixed or adj.), same as the stock seat. I also have Sundowner and HD Touring seats for the Dyna that do not come slotted. The Sundowner & Touring seats (RK/Dyna) are both fairly deeply bucketed; not so deep that you get lumbar support, but enough that I don't feel the need for any. I consider either one an "all-day" seat, and I've done several 4000+ road trips with a few 500-600 mile days.

I like the way you guys think!!!!!!!!!!! Nothin better than cruising through the black hills with a couple of round soft back supports.
