2011 Wide Glide with V&H Pro Pipe
POST UPDATE: No riding due to snow and rain in May, so bike is done for the summer. Added Wild 1 Chubby 10" T-Bars and a JD A/C Cover. The bars didn't require any changes to the cables or brake line. We did have to run a tap on the threads as there was some weld slag on them. If you go with 12" bars, you would have to change them out. Below is some other things I did over the winter,
So here what was installed: V&H Pro Pipe Chrome, V&H VO2 Naked A/C, and V&H Fuel Pak. I went with the Fuel Pak mainly for simplicity and I don't plan on doing any major modifications to the motor at this point.
Installation was pretty simple and wasn't all that time consuming. Was a fun Saturday evening project with some thinking fluid and hanging out. Once completed, I fired everything up and this thing sounds like I'm running a V-8. I took it for a quick ride down the block and back. Sound was better than anything I could find on YouTube.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the package V&H puts together, the chrome is top notch and using the FuelPak is stupid simple.
