Relocating Tail lights on bobcat fender

Relocating Tail lights on bobcat fender
Hey all,
This is probably a stupid question...but, I just got some saddle bags for the lady's 01 wide glide and the instructions are not clear on relocating the tail lights. I have to move them about 1.5" back and am wondering has anyone else done this with the stock lights? Will I need a aftermarket relocate kit...Frustrated and just dont wana be a chump with messing her ride up.
